Publisher’s Note
The August 20, 2006, article by Bezjak et al titled, “Symptom Improvement in Lung Cancer Patients Treated with Erlotinib: Quality of Life Analysis of the National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group Study BR.21” (J Clin Oncol 24:3831-3837) was published online on August 18, 2006, with errors.
In the Results section, under the heading, “Primary QOL Analysis: Response of Main Lung Cancer Symptoms,” the third sentence gave the adjusted P value as .03 for time to deterioration of dyspnea and P = .04 for time to deterioration of pain, whereas it should have been P = .04 and P = .03, respectively.
In Figure 2, the adjusted log-rank P value was given as .01 for dyspnea (in Fig 2B) and P = .02 for pain (in Fig 2C), whereas it should have been P = .04 and P = .03, respectively.
These corrections have been made online as of November 30, 2006.
